Resources
For Healthcare Professionals
Welcome health care professionals and others with a bent for research!
Over the years, we have found that though prenatal and postnatal yoga are well accepted in the medical community, most of the health professionals we talk with have little experience with what is taught in the classroom. An emerging body of research is documenting the efficacy of exercise, yoga, diet, and psychosocial interventions during pregnancy and the postpartum period. On this page we provide links to articles and abstracts regarding exercise, yoga, and integrative approaches for the childbearing year as we come across them.
We hope that you find these articles helpful to you in your practice. Please feel free to contact us at info@OmMama.com with suggestions or additional articles for this page.
